A few years ago, I gained about 10kg during university exam season. When I tried to lose the weight, I struggled a lot. Most “healthy” food I found was bland, unsatisfying, and impossible to stick to.
That’s when I decided to try something different: recreating the foods I loved — like pizza, lasagna, carbonara, pancakes and (many) desserts — but in healthier versions that were high in protein and lower in calories.
What started as a personal hobby quickly became something I loved doing. I began sharing these recipes online, and the response was incredible! The community grew to hundreds of thousands of people trying the recipes and getting real results themselves.
Because these recipes helped me lose fat and build a leaner body, and ultimately improving my daily self-esteem, I decided to compile them into a book called Cooking Abs.
