Hi there!

My name is Carolina, I’m 25 years old, and I’m passionate about a healthy lifestyle.

Since I was 18, I decided to start eating better and began testing recipes I found online in my parents’ kitchen. Back then, I thought that eating healthy meant eating tasteless and “boring” food, which made this lifestyle difficult to maintain for long.

Over time, I started enjoying recreating basic dishes and making them healthier, like carbonaras, lasagnas, pizzas, etc... of course, it’s not exactly the same, but the truth is they taste really good, and I can eat them every day without feeling like I'm getting worse in shape.

So I often shared these recipes in "close friends" Instagram stories, and many encouraged me to create an Instagram dedicated to these recipes because “I was really good at it.” And that’s how Foodies was born :)

I created this book with the goal of helping people who are in the same situation I was a few years ago: wanting to eat well and improve their fitness without having to go through boring diets or eat food they don’t enjoy.
